Sepang – The F3 Asian Championship season finale is about to kick off at Sepang and Jaden Conwright is ready to fight hard to finish at the best his 2018 campaign. Although the hat-trick made by Jake Hughes at the last round in Ningbo have excluded the American from the battle for the championship lead, the second position, currently in the hand of Raoul Hayman, is still a possible target for Jaden Conwright, who seats third with seven points to defend over Charles Leong.

The unpredictable weather at this time of the year in Malaysia could be a deciding factor and the rain could be really helpful for Jaden, who displayed a very consistent pace on wet track conditions at Ningbo. The current probability of rain sits at 50% and the night race, scheduled on Friday 23th, will be challenging for the F3 Asian drivers, who will be joined by several newcomers this week. Some of them, with a lot of experience matured in the top-edge European Championship.

Jaden Conwright: I’m looking forward to heading back to Sepang, it’s been a long and hard-fought championship, but it’ll be ending where it all began. It’s a shame that I’m no longer mathematically eligible for the championship, but I know what I need to do to secure the best possible position in the championship. The variable conditions, the experienced drivers who are debuting, and the night race will make this race weekend one of the toughest of the championship, but there’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll continue to be able to show strong results to cap off the year!
