(By Absolute Racing) – The championship contest is hotting up as the penultimate race weekend of the inaugural F3 Asian Championship Certified by FIA at Ningbo approaches. In terms of title fight, the series is now entering the decisive phase.
Ningbo’s new circuit is no longer an unknown quantity. Last June, Absolute Racing celebrated a victorious weekend at Ningbo International Speedpark during rounds 4, 5 & 6, with Jaden Conwright taking its maiden win of the season on the 4.010km Chinese track. The team is very motivated to replicate the performance this weekend.
The weekend’s rounds 10, 11 and 12 are crucial event in terms of potential influence on the championship’s outcome. The American driver Conwright is currently third place on drivers’ standings and is aiming for more glory.
All three races will be live-streamed on the official website (www.f3asia.com).
#80 Jaden Conwright: “I’m looking forward to being back at Ningbo. We had great pace in the previous visit here, so I’m looking to continue where we left off. It’s a completely new weekend from the first visit, but there’s no doubt in my mind that we can replicate the same results that we acquired last time in Ningbo.”
Ingo Matter (Team Director): “Our first visit to Ningbo this season was quite positive with three pole-positions, two front row lockouts, two second place finishes, one class win and a overall race win. We know how strong is the competition. We still have some hard work ahead of us, but the whole team is very motivated to replicate the good results. ”
